ZKsync Integrates Chainlink’s CCIP for Cross-Chain Ecosystem

ZKsync announced the integration of Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) on September 16.

According to a joint press release by Chainlink and ZKsync, this collaboration will support a unified Layer 2 ecosystem on Ethereum, providing developers with advanced tools for building interoperable applications while bridging decentralized finance and traditional financial systems.

The integration of CCIP on ZKsync Era Mainnet will introduce a new standard for cross-chain communication, allowing smart contracts to send messages and transfer tokens between different blockchain networks.

ZKsync Era now supports @chainlink CCIP for cross-chain interoperability.

This capability is expected to streamline the development process for decentralized applications (dApps) by ensuring they can operate securely and efficiently across multiple chains.

Improving Asset Transfers and Data Sharing

By joining forces, ZKsync seeks to attract more developers to build on its platform, leveraging Chainlink’s infrastructure to connect decentralized and traditional finance more seamlessly.

Through this project, the company plans to facilitate seamless asset transfers and data sharing between different blockchain networks, supporting the development of applications that can operate efficiently across multiple ecosystems.

“ZKsync has become a household name in the blockchain industry, quickly building its ecosystem into a powerful environment for developers and financial institutions looking to move onchain,” said Chainlink Labs Chief Business Officer Johann Eid.

“The natural progression in our collaboration was the integration of Chainlink CCIP, enabling seamless multi-chain access as ZKsync Era continues to gain momentum in the zero-knowledge space,” stated Eid.
