Billions of Gojek Tokopedia shares sold, net foreign volume plunges to -895.13 million shares

JAKARTA - In contrast to the previous day, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) became the most sold on Tuesday, September 10, with foreign investors selling up to 2.74 billion shares for a net volume of -918.65 million shares. This share-selling activity resulted in an increase in foreign sales volume, which reached 4.40 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was 3.51 billion shares, causing net foreign volume to drop to -895.13 million shares.

The following shares sold by foreign investors belonged to the banking company PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP), totaling 135.21 million shares with a net volume of -93.73 million shares. Shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were also sold for approximately 92.90 million shares, with a net volume of -86.34 million shares. Not only that, 51.64 million shares of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), which engages in the construction and infrastructure sectors, were sold, resulting in a net volume of -32.47 million shares. In the telecoms infrastructure provider sector, PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) shares were sold for 78.03 million shares, with a net volume of -27.18 million shares.

Meanwhile, shares of PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB), a gold mining company in the Australasian region, were acquired for 100.64 million shares, with a net volume of 69.77 million shares. Then, 43.98 million shares of PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk (ACES), a household products retailer, were purchased, followed by 39.38 million shares of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), an industrial development business. Through these two transactions, ACES and KIJA both had a net volume of around 30 million shares. In the property sector, 36.76 million shares of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) were purchased, for a net volume of 29.81 million shares. The list of buying and selling foreign shares was then closed with the purchase of 42.70 million shares of the lifestyle product retail company PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) with a net volume of 24.46 million shares.
