JAKARTA - On Monday, September 9, foreign share purchase transactions increased and resulted in a foreign purchase volume of 2.46 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign sales volume stood at 2.39 billion shares. As a result, the net foreign sales volume ended at 70.28 million shares. The biggest contributor to the increase in foreign buying volume was the purchase of 811.71 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) with a net volume of 149.16 million shares.
PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) shares, a renewable energy company, were then purchased for 76.48 million shares, resulting in a net volume of 71.33 million shares. Furthermore, 58.68 million shares of PT Intiland Development Tbk (DILD), which operates in the construction sector, were purchased for a net volume of 53.75 million shares. Shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were also purchased, with a net volume of 50.73 million shares, followed by the purchase of 34.42 million shares of coal trading and mining company PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), for a net volume of 28.03 million shares.
In contrast, foreign investors sold 85.44 million shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) in the banking sector, resulting in a net volume of -82.27 million shares. Aside from that, shares of e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 60.28 million shares, with a net volume of -51.56 million shares. Around 36.02 million shares of multimedia business PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were then sold, with a net volume of -32.08 million shares. In the precious metal mining sector, shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) were sold for 45.47 million shares, with a net volume of -26.35 million shares. Finally, shares of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), an electric vehicle battery producer, were sold for 26.78 million shares with a net volume of -25.68 million shares. (KD)
