JAKARTA - Foreign share selling activity on Thursday, September 19 resulted in a foreign selling volume of 5.99 billion shares. The largest contributor to this high number was the selling of 3.55 billion shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of -1 billion shares. On the other hand, foreign investors also purchased shares and recorded a foreign purchase volume of 5.36 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume ended at -629.42 million shares.
The shares of the property development company PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) were then sold for 336.23 million shares, with a net volume of -225.41 million shares. In the e-commerce industry, about 242.64 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for a net volume of -215.36 million shares. Shares of the gold mining company PT J Resources Tbk (PSAB)were then sold for 27.01 million shares with a net volume of -22.76 million shares, which was then followed by the sale of 63.80 million shares of the banking company PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) with a net volume of -16.87 million shares.
Still in the same industry, foreign investors then purchased shares in two banking businesses, namely 207.56 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with a net volume of 102.61 million shares and 68.08 million shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) for a net volume of 53.16 million shares. Furthermore, 100.44 million shares of mineral mining business PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) were purchased, for a net volume of 82.64 million shares. In the renewable energy sector, 66.45 million shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) were purchased, for a net volume of 65.35 million shares. Finally, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM)shares in the telecommunications sector were acquired for 112.87 million shares, with a net volume of 52.16 million shares. (KD)
