JAKARTA - PT Dima Investindo (DI) reportedly completed the acquisition of 55% of PT Miki Ojisan Indomitra (MOI) placed inPT Kurniamitra Duta Sentosa Tbk (KMDS) for IDR 184.8 billion last week (26/9).
In the information disclosure quoted Monday (30/9), Hengky Wijaya, President Director of KMDS, said that the acquisition of 55% of the shares will result in change of controlling shareholder. Following this event, DI is required to initiate a mandatory tender offer of KMDS’s shares.
MOI’s shares that were taken over by DI clocked up to 440 million shares, bought for IDR 420 each. Last week (26/9), KMDS reported closing price at approximately IDR 725 per share, weakening from IDR 795 per share. Transaction volume reached 4.39 million within 1,207 transactions worth IDR 3.24 billion. Its market cap arrived at IDR 580 billion.
In August 2024, KMDS recorded listed shares of 800 million, split into Hengky Wijaya of 2.69%, Mari Lie of 1.09%, Dewi Irianty Wijaya of 0.04%, MOI of 76.19%, and the public of 19.99%. The number of shareholders also reached 1,122, with the ultimate beneficial owner of the shares goes to Hengky Wijaya. (LK/ZH)
