JAKARTA. A total of 3 startups from Indonesia have received funding totaling more than US$28.5 million this week.
According to data compiled by .com, the three startups are Broom, Rey.id, and Pallav Technologies. All three are startups based in Jakarta.
Broom, a startup in the automotive sector, received funding of US$ 25 million from a number of well-known venture capitalists, including Openspace and MUFG Innovation Partners. Apart from that, Broom also obtained Debt Financing funding from a number of financial institutions, with an undisclosed amount.
Meanwhile, Rey.id received funding worth US$3.5 million led by CyberAgent Capital. For the record, Rey.id is a startup in the technology-based insurance sector.
Finally, Pallav Technologies received Seed Round funding from M Ventures Partners, Kadan Capital, Monks Hill Ventures, and angel investors. However, the amount of funding received by Pallav Technologies was not stated. (KR/LM)
