IDX claims security issuance hit 75% of target

JAKARTA – PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) or Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) claims that the realisation of security issuance has reached 75% of total target of 410 this year. The notion was announced by I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Listing of IDX in Jakarta today (8/10).

“The instruments we have are relatively holistic; we have bonds, stocks, asset-backed security, structured warrant. What we want to emphasise is, as a part of our key performance indicator (KPI), the total instruments reach 410,” Yetna said.

According to Yetna, IDX is committed to meet the target, even beyond, without differentiating each instrument. “As of now, over 75% of the instruments have reached the target. So, we cannot specify each type, as they all are security instruments in the stock exchange,” he added.

Furthermore, Yetna mentioned that the stock exchange authority is still pursuing to complete the target currently in the pipeline, including structured warrant, bonds, and stocks, with the remaining time. “We predict the realised target could reach over 100%,” he said. (ZH/LK)
