JAKARTA - On Monday, October 7, PT Jaya Trishindo Tbk (HELI), popularly known as Jati Group, welcomed PT Avia Nusantara Khatulistiwa as a new investor. Without hesitation, this investor acquired 228.81 million shares, giving themcontrol over approximately 27.47% of HELIs outstanding shares. Meanwhile, HELIs controller, PT Startel Communication, saw a drop in shares from 47.82% to 23.05% concurrently with the release of 206.30 million shares of the issuer involved in commercial aviation. The two investors completed their transactions with the help of PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas.
Next, PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk acquired11.50 million shares ofPT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), its subsidiary that develops and operates resorts and hotels. Up to 6.97 million shares were thenpurchased by foreign investor DBS Bank Ltd S/A PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia in addition to existing shares in real estate developer PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR). Individual investors were not left behind either, as Eko Desriyanto bought1.86 million shares ofPT Idea Indonesia Tbk (IDEA), a company in the hospitality and restaurant industry, and Yulisar Khiat added 200 thousand shares to PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL), a hospital management, to his portfolios.
Conversely, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala, the controller of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), sold 10.89 million shares of the company. Following PT Panin Sekuritas Tbks reduction of nearly five millionshares in PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), PT Tiga Makin Jaya sold 1.4 million shares of PT Panca Mitra Multiperdana Tbk (PMMP), a company that processes and exports shrimp. Last but not least, Ruhong Holding Pte Ltd saw a decrease in share portion from 88.36% to 88.345, despite owning 1.94 billion shares of PT Perma Plasindo Tbk (BINO). BINO is an issuer that manufactures and distributes office stationery under the BANTEX brand. (KD)
