Share sale transactions greater, net foreign volume closed at -591.74 million shares

JAKARTA - On Thursday, October 10, share sales transactions generated a foreign sales volume of 3.53 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign buying volume was in the range of 2.94 billion shares, and net foreign volume closed at -591.74 million shares. The digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the most shares sold, totalling approximately 706.10 million shares, with a net volume of -132.62 million shares.

Furthermore, shares of the e-commerce company PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) were sold for 380.40 million shares, with a net volume of -244.59 million. In the banking industry, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares were sold for 165.48 million shares, with a net volume of -91.21 million shares. Moreover, shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), which operates in the advertising-based media sector, were sold for 130.94 million shares, with a net volume of -62.11 million shares. This was followed by the sale of 204.96 million shares of hotel and resort management company PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), with a net volume of -49.94 million shares.

On the buy list, foreign investors began by purchasing 328.43 million shares of coal mining company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), resulting in a net volume of 179.25 million shares. Domestic and overseas shipping services business PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) shares were then purchased for 59.38 million shares, for a net volume of 56.01 million shares. In addition, 27.08 million shares of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), an electronic equipment distributor, were purchased, for a net volume of 25.58 million shares. Shares of PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA), which specialises on industrial development, were then purchased for 33.74 million shares, for a total of 24.53 million shares. Finally, 25.12 million shares of PT Bintang Samudera Lines Tbk (BSML), which provides shipping and logistics services, were purchased, for a net volume of 22.59 million shares. (KD)
