Consumer sentiment in South Korea was slightly softer in September, the Bank of Korea said on Wednesday, with a Composite Consumer Sentiment Index (CCSI) score of 100.0 - down from 100.8 in August.

Consumer sentiment regarding current living standards and their future outlook were unchanged at 90 and 94, respectively.

Consumer sentiment related to future household income was unchanged at 98, while the outlook was one point at 108.

Consumer sentiment concerning current domestic economic conditions was two points lower than in August, at 71, and the outlook was two points lower at 79.

The expected inflation rate for the upcoming year was 2.8 percent.
