JAKARTA – Aiming to drive collaborative adoption of Islamic financial principles in digital innovations and current global challenges, Menara Syariah and INCEIF University presents a two-day event of the 1st Menara Syariah & INCEIF University Symposium (MSIUS) 2024 from August 8 to 9, 2024.
The symposium invites experts, academician, and globally renown practitioners in their respective fields to numerous panel discussions, including the utilisation of Islamic financial principles in modern waqf management, sustainability issues and climate crisis, as well as sharia investment and its regulation.
In his opening speech, Harianto Solichin, Commissioner of PT Fin Centerindo Satu, the controller of Menara Syariah, emphasized that this focus on waqf is not only pivotal but also transformative.
“The discussions over the next two days will chart a new course for the sustainable development of the Islamic finance industry,” Solichin added.
Furthermore, giving his welcoming speech as well during the opening of the event, Prof. Mohammad Nuh, Chairman of Indonesia Waqf Institution (2017-2024), reiterated the importance of technology partnerships in the Waqf 2.0 paradigm shift.
By fostering dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders, this symposium seeks to identify opportunities for integrating digital solutions and ethical finance principles to achieve sustainable development goals. (ZH)
