JAKARTA. PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) has officially formed a strategic partnership with PT Bahana Artha Ventura (BAV) in order to support the expansion of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Through this collaboration, BINA also asserts its commitment to provide IDR 50 billion, as well as accumulated partnership value with a limit of up to IDR 100 billion.
Juli Maria, Pjs Head of Corporate Banking of BINA, said that currently, MSME has become the vital pillar of national economic development.
“We believe that proper financial support for financing programmes of BAV could help MSME to expand more rapidly and thus contribute to the national economy,” said Maria in the official statement.
Meanwhile, Agung Wicaksono, President Director of BAV, mentioned that said fund will be allocated to MSMEs under BAV network and all Regional Venture Capitals across Indonesia.
“We will allocate the fund as financing support for our partner MSMEs, whilst providing required assistance in order for them to be more competitive,” said Wicaksono.
According to IDNFinancials data, BINA scored net profit of IDR 68.88 billion in the first half of this year, which was actually 40% lower compared to the net profit recorded in the same period last year. (KR/ZH)
