Enhancing efficiency, MTMH to acquire suppliers of laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment

Murni Sadar Tbk (MTMH), the managing company of Murni Teguh Hospital, has acquired PT Gamaliel Elia Tua (GET), a company engaged in the wholesale of laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment.

The acquisition of GET is carried out by MTMH with transaction value of IDR 800 million.

In the meantime, MTMH also grants extra capital to GET of IDR 1 billion, which increases GET’s issued and paid-up capital to IDR 2 billion from the initial IDR 1 billion.

“The increase of issued and paid-up capital is carried out by MTMH and Mr. Tjhin Ten Chun,” said Armen Chandra, Corporate Secretary of MTMH, in the official statement.

Chandra further said that the acquisition and capital raise of GET is meant to increase MTMH’s efficiency in inventory supply. “Particularly medical devices and drugs that are essential in the company’s core business,” he added.

According to IDNFinancials data, MTM reported total assets of IDR 2.27 trillion as of June 30, 024, with cash and cash equivalent of IDR 3.02 billion. Then, its total equity was recorded at IDR 1.45 trillion. (KR/ZH)
