ROTI offers the most appetizing dividend yield in processed food industry

JAKARTA -PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk (ROTI)recorded the highest dividend yield for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 among its peers in the processed food industry that are listed as constituents of Indeks52. There are six issuers in this industry, listed as Indeks52 constituents, with market capitalisation of over IDR 5 trillion.

Based on IDNFinancials data quoted Friday (23/8), this Sari Roti manufacturer booked dividend yield of 7.69% in FY 2023. Total allocation clocked up to IDR 500 billion or IDR 87.67 per share, which was made in reference to its net profit in 2023 of IDR 331.29 billion, retained earnings of IDR 168.70 billion, and total equity of IDR 2.39 trillion.

At the runner-up, sat PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF)with dividend yield of 4.35%. The distributed cash dividend as IDR 2.34 trillion or IDR 267 per share for FY 2023. Its net profit attributable to the parent entity was at IDR 8.14 trillion in 2023, while its retained earnings reached IDR 47.02 trillion and total equity of IDR 100.46 trillion.

PT Mayora Indah Tbk (MYOR)arrived next at the third place with dividend yield of 2.24%. Its cash dividend in FY 2023 was IDR 1.22 trillion or IDR 55 per share. The allocation was made based on the record of its net profit of IDR 3.19 trillion, retained earnings of IDR 14.55 trillion, and total equity of IDR 15.28 trillion.

Securing the fourth place, PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ)reported dividend yield of 2.18% with cash dividend totalling IDR 415.92 billion or IDR 40 per share. Its net profit was recorded at IDR 1.16 trillion in FY 2023, with retained earnings of IDR 5.92 trillion and total equity of IDR 6.68 trillion.

Then, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP)comes next at the fifth, with dividend yield of 1.84% and FY 2023 allocation of IDR 2.33 trillion or IDR 200 per share. Net profit in 2023 was reported at IDR 6.99 trillion, with retained earnings of IDR 34.04 trillion, and total equity of IDR 62.10 trillion.

Lastly, in was PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk (CMRY)with dividend yield of 1.81%. Total allocated dividend for FY 2023 was reported at IDR 714.12 billion or IDR 90 per share. Then, its total net profit in 2023 was IDR 1.24 trillion, with retained earnings of IDR 2.11 trillion and total equity of IDR 5.94 trillion. (LK/ZH)
