JAKARTA. PT Info Media Digital (IMD), a digital business line under PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk (TMPO), has secured funding from Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF).
Jajang Jamaludin, Corporate Secretary of TMPO, mentioned that the funding received by the company is through Convertible Performance Debenture (CPD). “This convertible bond has a maturity date on December 31, 2028, with an interest rate of 0%, he said in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
With said fund, Jamaludin said, TMPO will gain extra liquidity that can increase operational capacity and working capital. In addition, the company will be able to work with extra fund flexibility to support expansion to more strategic segments.
It will support IMD in facing market challenges and create sustainable growth potential, added Jamaludin.
For the record, IMD manages several digital channels owned by TMPO, including Tempo.co, Tempo TV, Tempo Data Science, Tempo Institute, and Kok Bisa. (KR/ZH)
