Signing the 2024-2026 Joint Working Agreement, BRI and the Workers Union Strengthen Industrial Relations

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) signed the Joint Working Agreement (PKB) for the 2024-2026 period with the BRI National Workers Union at BRI BRILiaN Tower, Jakarta (28/08). The 2024-2026 Joint Working Agreement was signed by BRI President Director, Sunarso, with the Chairman of the BRI National Workers Union, Mohammad Rizal, and witnessed by the Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah.

In her remarks, Fauziyah emphasized that harmonious, transparent, fair and productive industrial relations are built from good partnerships. Through PKB, companies can collaborate with workers through good management, said Ida.

Ida added that companies need to improve social dialogue based on Pancasila values ​​and prioritize deliberation for consensus between management and workers. A solid and conducive partnership can have a positive impact on the company.

BRI President Director, Sunarso, declared the companys commitment to create conducive working conditions, so that all workers can work optimally. With this PKB, the company, alongside the workers, can form values ​​that have a significant effect by Giving Meaning to Indonesia, said Sunarso.

He emphasized that in the midst of increasingly tight business competition, BRI continues to maintain employee remuneration at a competitive level by considering the performance achievements of work units and individuals. He encouraged all workers to increase productivity according to the companys targets.

The Chairman of the BRI National Workers Union, Mohammad Rizal, hoped that the agreement can be implemented with full commitment and responsibility. SPBRI will continue to be committed and support the achievement of company performance and will continue to move forward, accomplish new achievements, and fulfil BRIs grand vision to continue to be Strong and Great, concluded Rizal.

The signing of this PKB shows BRIs commitment in forming good relationships with workers, while also encouraging the companys productivity and performance amidst increasingly complex business challenges. In the future, the synergy between BRI management and employees is expected to encourage innovation, improve the quality of service of the products, and ultimately, provide a greater contribution to the national economy.
