JAKARTA - PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) reportedly secured IDR 9.89 trillion worth of profit in the first half (H1) of 2024, sloping 19.58% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 12.34 trillion seen in H1 2023. Throughout the period, the heavy equipment Komatsu’s sales slipped to 2,100 units.
Based on Financial Report of H1 2024, quoted Wednesday (31/7), this profit decline resulted from its revenue slippage of 6.07% yoy to IDR 64.51 trillion from IDR 68.67 trillion.
Gross profit then also followed the downtrend, decreasing 10.72% yoy to IDR 16.86 trillion from IDR 18.69 trillion. Lastly, its profit before taxes also shifted down to IDR 12.55 trillion from IDR 15.84 trillion.
The primary contributor of revenue of this Indeks52 constituent in H1 2024 was goods’ sales to related and third parties of IDR 33.37 trillion, which also shrank from IDR 41.49 trillion seen in H1 2023.
